My writing

My writing explores the stories we inherit, the ones we resist, and the ones we eventually find the courage to rewrite. I’m drawn to the moments when something shifts — quietly or unmistakably — and we begin to see ourselves differently.

I’m interested in the space where our private histories meet our present lives — the quiet threads that tug at us, the contradictions we try to navigate, and the ways we learn to loosen stories that once protected us. Much of my writing looks at what it means to be seen, to want more, and to stand at the edge of change without knowing where it might take us.

My essays on ageing, desire, and reinvention have been published in The Times, The Sydney Morning Herald, HuffPost, Toronto Star, and Daily Mail (UK), reaching an international readership and sparking conversation across media and podcast platforms.
